IT'S HERE!!

I leave for Cuba tomorrow (11.05.09)!

Pray that lives are transformed by Jesus Christ.

Pray for safety and health for our 11 member team.

Pray for Christ-Like Attitudes.

Pray for our team to make the most of this opportunity.

Pray for favor from the people and the government.

Pray for flight schedules to go smoothly.

Pray for the Cuban people to be blessed my this trip.

45 DAYS TIL WE WILL BE IN SANTIAGO DE CUBA!

The trip is full with all 12 of us ready and anxious to go! God has opened so many doors in order for this trip to take place! It still amazes me that we are traveling from the United States 100% legally and on a religious visa! God is so good and we haven't even gotten there yet!

Welcome to my blog about my upcoming trip to Cuba!

I'm very excited that God has given me this opportunity to to go and serve the local Cuban church and the people there!

I have had many opportunities to take similar trips to other countries like Mexico, Guatemala, and Canada. But never have I had such an unprecedented opportunity like this one. The Cuban government is becoming more and more receptive to Christian organizations and the people their are so desperately in need.



On this trip the James River Assembly team will be partnering with the local church to continue the work on a church facility that it's congregation is busting out of the seams. We would also be taking needed supplies to the people and filling any need the locals would need.




Please consider being a part of what God is doing in Cuba. For missions to be possible the church needs people to Go, Pray, and Finance. I am willing and able to go and meet the needs of these Cuban people, but it would not be possible without God's guidence and people who partner with me in praying and financing.
